Photo Essay: 4 Days in Crested Butte with Worldwide Cyclery

A few weeks ago in mid-July, we hosted the crew from Worldwide Cyclery (Jeff, Liam and Jared) along with 14 of their fans/followers/friends.  Talk about a rowdy group!  We had a big itinerary planned for this group of riders, and it certainly delivered; other than a rain/hail storm on the climb up to Doctor Park, we managed to get in about 80 miles of riding with over 10,000 feet of climbing and 14,000 feet of descending.  Needless to say, once this trip was over we had a lot of guys tired and beaten, but waiting for the next trip!

We captured the trip with images of the riders throughout the last three days (sorry, we were busy on Day 1 getting dinner ready and logistics planned out so no pics from Baxter Gulch), take a look below for ride details and some of our favorite shots:

Day 1: Baxter Gulch Out-and-Back (16 miles, 2300′)

Day 2: Reno/Flag/Bear/Deadman’s and Doctor Park (24 miles, 2800′ w/ 5000′ descending)

Day 3: Crystal Pass, Star Pass, Trail 400 Loop (23 miles, 4000′)

Day 4: Teocalli Ridge w/ Death Pass (15 miles, 2500′)
