Announcing our 2019 Demo Bikes: Ibis Ripmo, Ripley LS and Mojo 3!

For our 2019 Chasing Epic demo bike fleet, we’re super stoked to be working exclusively with Ibis!  This year, we’ll be carrying three of the best bikes on the market: the brand new Ripmo, the uber-efficient Ripley LS, and the time-tested Mojo 3.  Between these three bikes, we’re confident our clients will have everything they need to attack each of our seven destinations at full speed.  And of course, each one of our 2019 trips includes your choice of one of these bikes for all four days.

Like always, our demo bikes are all carbon-framed beasts that are spec’ed with top of the line components sure to keep you smiling on the trail.  NEW FOR 2019, we’re partnering with Industry Nine to carry their full-custom Enduro 305 wheelsets on all of our bikes.  These wheels are super stiff, light, and offer near-instant engagement to help you crush the climbs and destroy the technical sections anywhere you’re riding with us.

Below you’ll find more details on each of the three bikes, as well as some recent reviews you might like to read to you stoked on your trip… and to make your decision that much more difficult!

Ibis Ripmo 29er:  The Ripmo has been rated by multiple bike magazines as the best new bike of 2018, and we agree.  With an efficient pedaling platform and more than enough travel to get you through just about anything, you’re going to love this bike regardless of where you ride.  Sizes carried: M, L, XL

Ibis Ripley LS: Despite “only” having 130mm of front travel, the Ripley LS can handle absolutely everything you throw at it: from steeps in Moab to all-day epics in Crested Butte.  It’s a quick-handling 29er that rolls over everything in sight, and is as versatile as it is beautiful.  Bring it on.  Sizes carried: L, XL.

Ibis Mojo 3 (27.5″): Likely one of the most popular bikes ever made, the Mojo 3 is about as playful as it gets.  With 130mm of rear suspension matched up with a 140mm fork, this bike can do it all.  It pedals well, it’s playful on the descents, and you’ll fall in love with this bike the moment you throw a leg over it.  Sizes carried: M, L

*** Please note: due to size limitations we’re not able to guarantee you’ll receive your first choice for your trip, but we’ll do our damndest to make sure you’re stoked on the bike you get.  Additionally, in Brevard and Sun Valley we may need to substitute a different make/model due to travel distances, but you’ll be riding something very similar in both geometry and component spec.
