Just Added: Join the Worldwide Cyclery Crew in Whistler!

Back for the 7th installment with the Worldwide Cyclery crew, we’re heading north of the border to Whistler once again for 6 days of fun and epic riding!  In case you missed the 2023 trip, or even if you want to head back and ride the Sea to Sky corridor again, this is one not to be missed.  You can check out the trip highlights and some killer photos using this link.  Just like all of our Whsitler trips, our rides will encompass the entire Sea to Sky corridor with two days in Whistler, two in Squamish and one in Pemberton; on the last day by special request (from Jared and Liam), you’ll have the option to ride in the bike park vs a “trail” ride in the Whistler Valley.

Each Chasing Epic trip is custom-designed for our clients, but you can expect big days on some of the biggest, baddest, most technical trails in the Sea to Sky corridor.  Make no mistake these are BIG rides, but we’ll also utilize a few shuttles to make sure we’re maximizing the descents and exploring every nook and cranny.  By partnering with our awesome partners at Arbutus Routes, we’ll show you the bucket list rides but we’ll also take you on back country adventures you’d never find on your own.  The total cost for this trip is $2995, and you can click on the image below to place your $500 deposit (the balance is due in late February).

Technical Difficulty: Intermediate + to Expert

Fitness Level: Intermediate +

Closest Airport: Vancouver (2 hours)

Frequently Asked Questions About This Trip

Which airport should I fly into?  For this trip, definitely fly into the Vancouver Airport which is approximately two hours from Whistler.  From there you can either rent a car, or you can take one of the many shuttle options that will drop you off right in the middle of the Whistler Village.  Pro tip: some of the shuttle companies allow you to pay a small fee to get dropped off at your lodging, which we’d recommend if you have heavy luggage (like a bike bag).

Is this trip really for upper intermediates and above?  Yes, absolutely.  While most of the terrain in the Sea to Sky is best ridden by more advanced riders, there’s plenty for solid, experienced mountain bikers as well.  You’ll definitely be pushed, but you can also expect to learn a ton from our awesome guides and you’ll leave our trip a much better technical rider.

What kind of riding should I expect each day?  Depending on the location, each day will be around 15 miles with 2000-3000′ of climbing/descending, with a bit more on a couple of days where we work in a shuttle drop or two.  Some of the climbs can be quite punchy and steep, and some are on gently-graded climbing trails.
