Photo Essay: Spring Slabs and Tech in Whistler, BC

Every June we head up to Whistler for a couple of back to back trips; this year the first was our “regularly” scheduled trip with the Worldwide Cyclery guys, and the second was hosting the Singletrack Sampler and his fans. Each trip was unique and different, as we mixed up the routes and the level of difficulty according to the riders on each specific trip. But one thing was clear: the amount of progression we saw across the board from Day 1 to Day 5 was incredible with both groups!
Our Whistler trips are unique in that we actually ride three different areas during the five days: two in Whistler, two in Squamish and one in Pemberton. This opens up a world of technical riding along with world-class flow trails and a bit of jumps thrown in for good measure as well. Below you’ll find pictures from the first trip, as we’ll publish a second post with all the videos from the Singletrack Sampler once they’re live on YouTube!
