New Destination Announcement: Revelstoke, Part Deux!

That’s right, we’re bringing back an old favorite… Revelstoke, BC! It’s been a few years, but it’s high time we head back to interior BC and provide another incredible destination for you to progress as a rider. And believe us, Revelstoke will give you all the opportunities you can ever want.
Sitting just inside the western border of British Columbia, Revelstoke is a small’ish town of 8-10k people (depending on who you ask) that was founded on logging and the railroad industry, but has seen a rebirth of adventure thanks to the ski resort and an exploding mountain bike scene. Revelstoke is smack-dab in the middle of the Columbia River Valley, and is surrounded by peaks that tower 5-8k feet above town, which makes for some pretty kick-ass riding. Trust us, we’ve ridden most of it and we can’t wait to get back next summer!
We’re currently finalizing the trip dates, but expect this one to happen in mid-August 2026. Stay tuned for the official announcement when we release our full 2026 trip calendar!
Revelstoke Trip Beta
Give us the dirt, you’re saying… This trip isn’t for everyone. Our Revelstoke trip is meant to be a progression through the Chasing Epic “heirarchy” of destinations, and we recommend this trip only for those who are confident in their technical skills and consider themselves an advanced-level rider. The trails in Revelstoke truly are “next level” in terms of steepness, tech, and intensity; they’ll push you beyond your limits and have you begging for more.
This trip is focused on the descents, but it’s our standard mix of trail and enduro riding… and we’ve even added a guided day at Revelstoke Mountain Resort riding the lifts to maximize vert. Each day we’ll mix things up and give you some shuttles, some climbing, but all the epic descents you can handle. For this trip, bring the biggest bike you can pedal because the terrain certainly justifies it.
More Trip Details
As we mentioned above, this trip is a bit different than our others: in more than one way. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect beginning next August:
- 5 days of riding. Because it takes longer to get to Revelstoke, and because the riding is so great, we’ve decided to make this trip longer just like our Whistler-based trips.
- For us, this trip is a perfect mix of maximizing shuttle-assisted riding and taking advantage of some big climbs to access truly epic terrain. From a high-level, I’d say it’s probably 60/40 in terms of shuttles or pedal-access, but trust us here… it’s all worth the effort.
- Smaller group size, and advanced/expert riders only. We’re going to have one trip available in mid-August, and we’ll have just ten spots open. We’re keeping it small so we can work with smaller groups, and make sure the riders are qualified for the terrain. We understand it’s not for everyone, and we hope more and more folks build their skills up to this level.
Expected Itinerary Layout
Obviously things can change a bit, but for now we’re aiming for the below itinerary to maximize our ride time, hit the epic descents, and give you more saddle time than you could ever want.
Day 0: Arrive around 5pm to build bikes, have welcome dinner and a drink, and do a group introduction hitting the important pieces of the week to come.
Day 1: Warm-up ride on the Macpherson trails (about 8-10 miles), lunch, then head out for multiple afternoon shuttles on the Boulder Mountain DH-focused trails.
Day 2: Shuttle drop at the main parking lot for Frisby Ridge (3,000′ bump!) to start our ride, then climb about 2,200′ to the top before heading down over 5k’ into town. We’ll hit Frisby Ridge, UFC and Ultimate Frisby on the way down.
Day 3: AM shuttle laps on Boulder Mountain (about 6-8k’), lunch, and then an afternoon shuttle on Martha Creek (5k’) before ending for post-ride beers and snacks on the Columbia River. Bring your trunks for a dip!
Day 4: Guided day at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. We’ll start by taking the gondola up about 3500′ in the morning and kicking things off with another 2,000′ climb to the top of world-famous 5620, an 11-mile flow and jump trail that will blow your mind. From there it’s riders’ choice of tech, flow, or maybe some sneaky trails just outside the resort on the way back down to our lodge.
Day 5: Morning shuttle laps on Boulder Mountain. This morning we’ll hit some rider favorites for a few hours before wrapping things up for lunch – lots of options to finish off an epic trip. Expect to be done by 12:30p, so you can plan your departure and start your drive/flight home!
